I’m very
proud of our staff here. It is top rate.
The
employees of The Original Company’s Fairfield Cluster, comprised of WFIW AM-FM,
WOKZ and 103.3 FM, have each adopted a non-for-profit organization to champion.
Each employee will be their direct contact for news releases and public service
announcements.
Jeff Murphy
has selected the Anthony Wayne American Legion Post 174.
Derek Dunn
will help the Wayne County Historical Society.
Mark Turner
will support the Fairfield Masonic Temple 206 and the Shriners.
Tom Lavine
will helping out the Fairfield FFA.
Jeff Vaughan
has selected the Frontier Community College Foundation.
Libby Lingafelter will support the work of the Greater Fairfield Chamber of Commerce.
Laurie
Snidle has volunteered to help the work of the Edwards County Council on Aging
and the Albion Senior Center.
I have
already attended my first meeting of the Wayne County Humane Society where I
offered to be their champion. I started a series of public service
announcements and have been posting information on our Facebook page about
their adoptable animals and ways the public can help in providing food and
litter.
This is a
corporate initiative…It only makes common sense for us to attach ourselves to
the organizations that make this a unique region. All of our employees have
embraced the idea and look forward to lending a helping hand with our radio
stations and our robust social media presence.
As always,
we are at your service.
