Democrats Moving With Conviction

The Pritzker/Democratic agenda is rolling…

Give the new governor credit. He’s got a list of things he wants---and his party colleagues are very accommodating.

Legislation has been proposed and is moving on multiple fronts.

The Democrats want legal, taxed marijuana sales. They are bent on increasing the minimum wage and they even want to get in on the national movement to legalize late term abortions. They even want to allow minors to get abortions without notifying their parents or legal guardians. The state income taxes are sure to go up during the next four years.

I don’t mind telling you….there isn’t anything here that makes Illinois a better place to live. Our bond ratings are approaching junk status…our state debt is over three times any of our neighboring states.

But the Governor doesn’t appear to be cognizant of the state of the state. He doesn’t understand broke because he is personally worth billions. He got it the hard way----He inherited it.

You know, ranting about it really isn’t going to change anything. We might as well strap in for the ride. The Democrats are in total control and they seem to be moving with conviction….which is what usually happens with our governors…..they get convicted.

Legal pot, third tri-mester abortions, children able to get an abortion without mom or dad knowing…and higher taxes.

All in motion …and they are proud of it.

It is a good time to be a Democrat in Illinois.
