J.B, M.K. And The Beat Goes On...

Election Day is just around the corner----next Tuesday to be exact---and there are  plenty of things causing me discomfort as the date nears. .

We have a history of electing Governors who become future criminals in Illinois---from both sides of the aisle. The discovery that there was some obvious criminal activity concerning the tax bill of billionaire J.B. Pritzker gave me that old Dan Walker, Rod Blagojevich, George Ryan kinda feel. Most polls say Pritzker is the next inmate-in-chief.

But don’t worry….a leak from a report on “Toilet-gate,” where the Pritzkers had all of the toilets pulled from their mansion to make it “unlivable,” thus making its value plummet….thus making their tax bill dip $300-thousand dollars ……That report pretty much exonerates J.B. The real crook is the incoming first lady.

“MK” Pritzker ordered contractors to pull the toilets and cap them. She told them to wait until after the property assessment was determined…..then re-install one toilet.

The next Governor says he will pay the taxes owed.  And he doesn’t have to worry his wife will do hard time for the attempted grand larceny… He’s got good Democrats in both the Cook County State’s Attorney…and the state Attorney General’s offices. This matter will get flushed as soon as he wins Tuesday night.

I think the bigger problem for the state is the possibility that Democrats could get four additional seats in the State House of Representatives, giving them a super majority of 71 seats. With total control of the Assembly, Democrats will be free to dictate redistricting maps come 2020.

One party rule. One party making sure that safe Democratic districts remain firmly Democratic…One party keeping the culture of patronage and corruption wholly intact.
