Merry Christmas

I wanted to take my two minutes today to wish you Christmas blessings. I plan on running some of my favorite commentaries over the next few days before starting anew with the New Year.

I think I can report that we have bonded as a family here at the radio station over the last six months. I am so proud to be part of this family.

Christmas has always been very special to me. I have wonderful memories of my childhood and the excitement on the faces of my own kids as they raced down the steps on Christmas morning.

At our holiday gathering this year we will be reminded of those who will be missing from around our table. Those empty seats will require us to remember Christmases Past and embrace memories of the good times we had together during the holidays.

Here’s what I hope for you. Presents are wonderful….but the real value of the season is the time we get to spend with our loved ones. Don’t miss the opportunity. Spend every moment you can with the generation on either side of you. Your parents….and our kids. You never know when fate could take them away from you. Relish your time and be demonstrative in your love.

Most of all I want to take this time to speak on behalf of the staff here at WFIW-WOKZ in expressing our hope that you have those moments with your loved ones. We want to say thank you for listening and for the businesses that support our stations.

Merry Christmas and God’s blessings…
