Silence is Consent.

Our nation continues to turn its back on God.

And that is most disturbing to me.

The latest-- in the continuing purge of the Almighty--comes from the U.S. House of Representatives, now in the control of the Democratic Party.

A draft of a proposal has seen the light of day which purportedly would eliminate the reference to God in the oath administered anyone testifying before the House Committees on Natural Resources. I guess I’m surprised it took this long. I mean, the Democrats have been in control now for about three weeks. What took them so long?

Little by little, the secular world chips away. Little by little we continue to turn our back on our Creator.

Understand, there is no constitutional requirement to mention God in an oath before Congress or in a courtroom. It has just been the practice for over 200 years. The committee proposing this change will reportedly vote on the decision to remove religious phrasing from the rules this week. The change would be enacted immediately if passed.

Just so you know…I was a Christian before being a Christian wasn’t cool. Clearly, it isn’t cool for people like Nancy Pelosi and the new brand of Democrats that have taken over the halls of Congress.

Look next for “In God We Trust” being purged…The Pledge of Allegiance being changed to include: “One Nation Under Government….not God.”  The Ten Commandments will be downgraded to the Ten Suggestions.
